Abstract:	本研究將嘗試採用傳染型餘震序列模型，透過結合統計學與流行病學原理分析地震活動。透蒐集地震目錄、回歸與最佳化ETAS參數、計算地震活動強度等，並運用隨機除叢技術區分地震類型，旨在確立地震與地震間之獨立性與相關性，進而探究地震特性及其來源。本研究預期透過ETAS模型釐清中央山脈斷層與縱谷斷層在台灣東部地震活動中所扮演角色，以及這些斷層在地震活動、造山運動和孕震機制中之重要性。
