摘要(英) In competitive global environment and the rapid development of information technology, flexible organizations must learn new knowledge, and develop their abilities to adapt the changing environment and face challenges. They even expect to keep their competitive advantages and beat the competition by investing in information technology. There were many papers have proposed key issues in MIS implementation process, but there are still lots of organizations can not successfully implement information system. Therefore, our important issue is to find out what kinds of abilities will contribute to system implementation. Moreover, previous studies little known about how organizational change capability affect IT leveraging competence. This paper attempts to fill this gap in the integration of ambidexterity and IT leveraging competence through empirical research under the context of new product developing.
Our empirical analysis focus on Taiwan manufacturing industry and we send the questionnaires to who joined the NPD team. Totally we collected 230 questionnaires. Through the empirical result, the alignment of NPD team members have a positive impact on the IT Business Spanning Capability, and IT Business Spanning Capability have a positive impact on IT leveraging competence. But the adaptability of NPD team members have no significantly relation with IT Business Spanning Capability. Consequently, We suggested that team members have to align their goal. Through adjusting to the same object, different professional fields members can span their boundary to collaborate together. In addition, team members realize that system will contribute to business value. So after system implementing, team members can effective use the system. This also means that the implementation of the system was very successful.
