| dc.description.abstract | 習仲勳是陝甘邊革命根據地的創始人之一，於1926年13歲時，加入共青團，1928年時在獄中轉為共產黨員，這期間已開始參與當地風起雲湧、大大小小的學潮、農運及兵運。
1930年受命到國軍西北軍楊虎城部，進行地下兵運工作，秘密策畫了兩年，於1932年發動兩當兵變，兵變失敗後，與劉志丹等人共同創建陝甘邊區革命根據地。1934年陝甘邊區蘇維埃政府正式成立，習仲勳任主席，領導該區的建設和發展，並將陝甘邊和陝北兩塊根據地連成一片，形成了西北革命根據地，為經過兩萬五千里長征的中共中央及中共中央紅軍，提供了落腳點，也讓中共中央將共產革命的大本營放在西北地方，發揮了重要的影響。
依照中共中央的指示和安排，習仲勳在陝甘寧邊區革命根據地展開了共產革命武裝鬥爭的生涯。 | zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract | Xi Zhongxun was one of the founders of the Revolutionary Base Area of the Northwest. In 1926, he joined the Chinese Communist Youth League at the age of 13. At that time, student, peasant, and military demonstrations were numerous. While imprisoned, Xi became an official member of the Chinese Communist Party(CCP) in 1928.
In 1930, Xi joined Yang Hucheng’s（楊虎城）Northwest Army and undertook a military coup in 1932. After the coup failed, he aligned with Liu Zhidan（劉志丹）and made efforts to build guerilla bases along the Shaanxi-Gansu border. In 1934, the Shaangan Border Region Soviet Area was established. Xi served as the chairman of the Soviet area government and was responsible for the region’s development. He also played a key role in merging the Shaanxi-Gansu Border and Northern Shaanxi Soviet Areas to form the Revolutionary Base Area of the Northwest. This particular area turned into a harbor of refuge for Mao Zedong and comrades of the CCP to end the Long March. It subsequently became the headquarter of Chinese Communist Movement. Xi then followed the party’s directions and continued his military career in the Revolutionary Base Area of the Northwest. | en_US |
