dc.description.abstract | In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in the Smart Machinery. With the development of Industry 4.0 in recent years, the Smart machinery combines machine vision, electronics, motors, machinery, automation and other integrated applications. The Smart Machinery, the focus of public attention, has changed the use of traditional robots and widely used in industry newly. The Smart Machinery has gained machine vision more popular, and which can be applied to manufacture and ensure the quality of the product.
Based on the infrastructure of Industry 4.0, the purpose of this study was to investigate that the use of machine vision assistance which applied to the production of Rubik′s Cube. The machine vision can assist in capturing images in a fixed manner and reducing the problem of clamping tools or positioning of facility, and also being used in the measurement of production rate.
In this study, the robotic arm mechanism is designed by SolidWorks to understand the robotic arm mechanism of Rubik′s Cube. The required experimental equipment is lowered the costs and is accelerated by means of using 3D printers, laser engraving machine in printing and cutting their parts and reassembling them. Through the image capture of Webcam and image processing in Matlab, they are able to obtain the six-sided color of Rubik Cube and outline of figure and convert the discerning and judgmental information into source code. The positive movement of Rubik′s Cube is transformed by Arduino that controlling motor signal.
The main purpose of this study is to develop an understanding of the system in this study can be a preliminary for the sample to do a simple test, and can be applied to the establishment of the production process of the basic specifications.
