dc.description.abstract | Any kinds of trauma truly appears in our life brings the difficult distress we hard to face, is the starting point of this dissertation. How a person, a group or whole human beings can or cannot solve the puzzles arise from trauma constitute my main concern. In the development of 20th century Western philosophy, cognition and separated thinking mode of the relation between human and nature seems to make the concept of nature be marginalized. Therefore, it seems hard to get assistance in them if we expect to think about the puzzle between human and nature, and try to solve it. Maybe Eastern philosophy can provide another reliable philosophical aid, and prove itself is workable by real practices in actual life.
Through re-explanation of Zhuang-Tze’s thought of the nature, and focus on his philosophical context about self- life and self-cultivation, Zhuang-Tze seem to give us a viewpoint of self-transformation. In a word, a kind of view that based on one’s sense and self experience as a starting-point creates any possible links to the nature, and take self-practice as a medium relates philosophical life and aesthetic cultivation. This dissertation has three main discussing aspects: self-trauma and historical trauma, re-explanation of Zhuang-Tze’s thought of the nature, and transcendence of Art or Dao. From these aspects, whether the distress be brought by trauma can be solved by re-explanation of Zhuang-Tze’s thought of the nature, then be transformed as a kind of creation in human life, may provide a possible way to respond modern issue about life and existence. | en_US |
