dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to explore the correlation between the students′ school, department, the educational levels of parents self-cognition and their career planning and current plan of further education. The study investigated the students of College of Science, College of Engineer and College of Management at National Central University from 99th - 100th Academic Year. In the study, the factors affecting the students include career and employment counseling services, understanding of the current situation of the employment market and industrial development trends, builting up students′ ability and so on. The influences of the department include students′ competitiveness in their field of expertise, their critical thinking and research abilities, the practicality and timeliness of the curriculum planning. Self-cognition includes self-assessment ability. In this study, according to the related finding, we discuss what causes the differences between the degree the student originally intended to pursue and the current plan of further education. | en_US |
