zh_TW
dc.description.abstract In recent years, environmental problems such as global warming, marine debris, deforestation or air pollution have happened constantly around the world. The occurrence of these natural disasters seems to be far away from us, and to be not directly related to our daily life. However, we always forget the fact that these environmental problems occur on the only earth we live on. These environmental crises are inseparable from our daily life. Human beings, as a member of the earth, should think seriously about all that happen on this planet and take appropriate actions. This paper starts with the discussion on some issues in environmental ethics related to our daily life from two perspectives: human-land and human-animal. Through the discussion, this paper attempts to find an appropriate and balanced relationship between human and land, or between human and animal. This “win-win situation” is also the core concept of sustainable development. Therefore, this paper also takes into consideration the possibility and some potential problems of sustainable development. Finally, care and practice are given as the solutions for current environmental problems around the world. By exploring various environmentally ethical issues, this paper expects that more people can, with the consideration for the earth, realize excessive things in our life, and attempts to increase public awareness about the environment so to make further efforts to improve the ways we treat our only earth.en_US
