| dc.description.abstract | The dialect point studied in this paper is Fengxin County, Jiangxi Province, located in the northwestern part of Jiangxi. The dialect in Fengxin County belongs to Gan dialect. In the early days, a large number of Hakkas migrated from Guangdong, Fujian and other regions to Jiangxi Province through southern Jiangxi, mostly living in mountainous areas. Hakka dialects gradually formed with the migration of Hakka ancestors. Jiangxi is very rich in language resources due to its geographical location and historical reasons. In addition to Gan dialects, the Chinese dialects in Jiangxi also include Hakka dialects, Wu dialects, Huizhou dialects, and Jiangxi Mandarin. With the integration of multiple languages, Fengxin Hakka dialect is different from other regional Hakka dialects.
This article takes the phonology of Fengxin Hakka dialect as the main research topic, collects local pronunciation and vocabulary through field investigation, and sorts out the current Hakka dialect phonetic system and phonetic evolution in Fengxin County. And do further research on vocabulary and observe the habits of Fengxin Hakka dialect.
The full text is divided into six chapters, the first chapter is the introduction, explaining the research motivation, research purpose, research method, and supplemented by related literature review. Chapter 2 is an explanation of the phonetic system of Fengxin Hakka dialect, introducing the features of Fengxin Hakka dialect′s phonetic, rhyme, tone system, tone sandhi and literary and colloquial pronunciation. The third chapter observes the comparison phenomenon of the diachronic evolution of the pronunciation of Fengxin Hakka dialect and the ancient Chinese phonology. The fourth chapter integrates the research foundation of the third chapter Hakka dialect and analyzes the phonetic characteristics of Fengxin Hakka dialect. The fifth chapter is the comparison of vocabulary, which is explained by comparing the vocabulary of the same dialect points in northwestern, southern and eastern Jiangxi. Chapter 6 is the conclusion, summarizing the phonetic system of Fengxin Hakka dialect and its characteristics based on the research results of this article, and then briefly explain it with a summary.
