dc.description.abstract | From the 1920s to 1940s, Taiwan produced and sold a large number of Peking opera records. By analyzing and organizing these records that are still preserved, it is enough to make us more clearly understand the material life, aesthetics and artistic requirements of Taiwanese at that time.
Starting with the origin of Peking opera records, it will discuss the development and types of Taiwan′s Peking opera records, combs the Peking opera records published by more than ten record companies in Taiwan, and will listen to the recordings of Taiwan′s Peking opera records that can be collected at present, records all the lyrics, examines the recording age, find out that the mainland Beijing opera record that can be compared with it is referred to; then explains the repertoires, arias, the way of acting, etc. of each record, makes a research on the singing style and the genre. For the records that cannot be recorded, by doing comparing with the known ones to infer the recording age, sort out the catalogue, verify the repertoires and plots.
This study is not only for the first time to make a systematic finishing on a large number of Taiwan′s Peking opera records, but also the first disclosure of most materials. Through the author′s carding, It is expected to provide more convenient and accurate information for Peking Opera fans and researchers, so as to master the development of Taiwan′s Peking opera during that period, and then make a more comprehensive and in-depth exploration. | en_US |
