|dc.description.abstract||The auto parts manufacturing industry plays an important role in the auto industry and also important promoter in the development of the auto industry. It covers different industries such as steel, plastics, rubber, glass, machinery, motors, electronics, and services. The rapid development of China′s auto industry in modern times has now become the world′s largest auto production and sales country. However, the good times are not long. Facing the slowdown of high-speed growth and the downward trend in recent years, how will the Chinese auto market develop in the future? How will the auto manufacturing industry and its auto parts suppliers overcome this difficulty? In the future, the new four modernizations again will bring about changes and developments in the auto industry in China.
The case company in this study is one of the small and medium-sized auto parts manufacturing companies in the industry supply chain. As the auto market shrinks and changes, the case company also faces operational difficulties. This study focuses on Porter’s five-force analysis, combined with the strengths and weakness of the case company. The study then, us SWOT analysis to propose specific and feasible business strategies for the case company to adopt in the future. Four specific possible business strategies are proposed: growth strategy, transformative strategy, diversification strategy, and exit strategy. The implementation plan of the case company’s strategies is further analyzed and discussed with integrated thinking. It is hoped that this study can provide C Company with strategic directions and solutions to resolve its current dilemmas, while providing short-, medium- and long-term development strategies for the case company to take in the future.||en_US|
