dc.description.abstract | With the prosperous development of the global optical component industry, optical lens manufacturers in Taiwan have competitive advantages in quality and technology, which occupying a superior position. Recently, due to changes in the global situation, the China–United States trade war and the rise and threat of the Red supply chain, the competition in the optical lens industry has become intense. In order to respond to changes in the industrial market, optical lens manufacturers in Taiwan are confront with the replacement of product supply chains, which makes companies begin to consider their internal business strategies and start corporate transformation. This research refers F Company, an optical lens manufacturer under the Taiwanese OEM, to investigate a qualitative case study to discuss the industrial difficulties and business problems confront by F Company from the overall environment, industrial environment and internal environment of the enterprise. Through PEST Analysis, Five Forces Analysis, SWOT Analysis and TOWS Matrix, propose the future business strategy formulation of the case company as a reference comprehensively.
The results of the study found that under the influence of overall environmental factors, in order to strengthen the trust of end product customers, optical lens manufacturers in Taiwan should continue to retain the leading advantages of patented technology and strengthen advanced manufacturing processes and high-quality products. On the other hand, extending the competitive advantage to the industrial supply chain can dominate the trend of future emerging markets. Through the analysis of the influencing factors of the industrial structure, there are many competitors in the industry, and the competition among enterprises is intense, which makes optical lens manufacturers in Taiwan no longer focus on the core field, and the strategy is turning to diversification management or products, can still be used to continue focus on advantages in the industry. Through industry PEST Analysis, Five Forces Analysis of industry competition and SWOT Analysis of the case company, it is concluded that the case company should utilize the current advantages and future opportunities, improve the disadvantages and convert the risks into advantages in order to resist external threats, and through the formulation of target strategies, provide recommendations on future business strategies to achieve the goal of corporate sustainability management. | en_US |
