dc.description.abstract | An overview of global semiconductor market in 2021, the market size has reached to 550.9 billion US dollars, and it is estimated to extend to 606.5 billion in 2022. The semiconductor industry is developing rapidly, and the global semiconductor industry is also sustainably growing.
Due to the rapid changes in the market, as well as the competitiveness of the products themselves, it requires management to change the way of production and reduce costs in order to enhance competitiveness.
In this study, lean production is implemented to reduce waste. The Platonic Analysis is to find the site that consumes the most man-power hours. The method is to use the ECRS Improvement Principle to delete unnecessary actions and parts that cannot be deleted. It then integrates the two processes to eliminate duplication. It reorganizes work content, redistributes work, and further analyzes its process. It also improves the per capita output of employees, shorten the working hours of the operation sites, and achieves the purpose of reducing costs. Finally, through the takt time, it measures the output and arranges human resources to achieve the concept of not only satisfying customers, but also having production line balance.
Actual cases show that improving production methods through the "lean production" can help companies save man-power hours, reduce costs, and increase profits. While enterprises are making progress, they often ignore the creation of wastes. Only by continuously improving their production methods, companies can then be able to maintain competitiveness in a rapidly changing market. | en_US |
