It has always been an important policy of our country to implement national defense independence and increase the energy of national defense science and technology. In recent years, relations across the Taiwan Strait have been warming up year by year, and the defense budget has also continued to increase. The Chinese Academy of Sciences is an indicator of the national defense industry. The annual mass production projects also increase greatly with the increase of the national defense budget, and the demand for cutting tools is also increasing. All projects require a large number of knife tools to assist in the completion, so the management of the knife tool warehouse is more important. Due to the huge organization of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, each knife and tool warehouse manages knives and tools separately, and the data is not circulated. Since the 1950s of the Republic of China, the management system of knives and tools has been unified. In 2016, the correctness of the storage of knives and tools was checked every year, but the results were not satisfactory.
QC Story (Quality Control Improvement Process) is a method widely used in the industry to solve problems. It clearly regulates the content that should be implemented in each step. People in different departments or fields exchange opinions and ideas, and they can use a common language to solve problems. Based on the QC Story systematic problem-solving framework, this research aims to study and improve the poor performance of the correctness audit work in the tool tool warehouse. Through the four stages of the improved version of "problem-solving QC Story", analyze the current situation of each warehouse, why the audit results of each quarter of each year cannot meet the predetermined standards, and use the fishbone diagram to analyze the cause of the problem, and find the main reasons from these reasons For the real cause, countermeasures are implemented with the PDCA cycle. The research results show that a good knife tool system and a friendly interface can greatly improve the management performance of the knife tool warehouse. Finally, the research process will be standardized and documented to provide the refinement of future knife tool warehouse management.
