The purpose of this study is to discuss a case of implementing SAP Retail into a home appliance retail channel enterprise, discussing its process, implementation effect and related issues. The research object is a home appliance retail enterprise. Due to the fierce market competition, the improvement of operating efficiency has become the top priority of the enterprise. Therefore, the company decided to implement SAP Retail to strengthen the information management of the enterprise, realize data sharing, and improve the operating efficiency and service quality of the enterprise.
This study is carried out through literature review, in-depth interviews and case studies, and conducts detailed analysis and research on the functions, implementation process, application effects and related issues of SAP Retail. The research results show that the introduction of SAP Retail system enables enterprises to quickly integrate management information, effectively solves the problems of duplication, error and information asymmetry in traditional management methods, and further improves the operational efficiency and management level of enterprises. Through SAP Retail, enterprises can realize various functions, such as financial management, inventory management, sales management, procurement management, etc., and effectively realize comprehensive information management to better control business operations and risks.
