dc.description.abstract本研究試驗結果顯示採用玻璃纖維斜撐之構架強度發展狀況與韌性較採用鋼斜撐之構架為佳,採用鋼斜撐之構架則於局部發生破壞,分析結果亦顯示採用鋼斜撐極限強度雖高,但強度衰減最快。若針對抗剪能力不足之構架,配合使用碳纖維包覆補強則可大幅提昇其強度與韌性,則不失為一良好補強方法。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractIn this thesis, the feasibility and performance of using GFRP braces to retrofit RC frame is investigated through experiments. Four full-scale RC frames, including one prototype frame without bracing, two frames using GFRP tube-type braces with or without filling cement, and one frame using steel braces, were tested under cyclic loading. Test results show that the development of strength and ductility of frame using GFRP braces is better than that using steel braces. Local shear-off damage was occurred at the site of concrete floor beam where two steel braces are jointed. This stress concentration effect cause the suddenly drop of resistance force from the steel brace, even though theoretically it can provide the highest ultimate load. The force-displacement curve of each specimen predicted by the RUAUMOKO code can match the experimental results quite well. It is believed that the strength and ductility of the retrofitted frame system can be substantially increase, if the columns can be wrapped by FRP sheet and all the connectors and weak links of the system can be well strengthened. This research demonstrates that the GFRP tube brace has the potential to develop an effective retrofit method for RC frame with low shear capacity.en_US
