dc.description.abstract | Nowadays bridge health monitoring system is attracting high attention in the world. For better comprehension of the bridge seismic response and abnormal precautions, various sensors are assembled to bridges to acquire structural response and environmental data to conduct long-term analysis and evaluation. Correlative government units in Taiwan are successively planning various types of monitoring system to maintain the regular function and safety of bridges, and lower social cost caused by disasters.
On the basis of bridge monitoring center information system, we can remotely control and centralize numerous monitoring data of bridges and then integrate all bridge monitoring systems in order to reduce demand of personnel management. For achieving the above-mentioned, this thesis mapped out on-site-monitoring scheme, center-processed scheme, alarming scheme, and remote-inquiring scheme. The overall concept of monitoring management is to remotely control, obtain on-site bridge responses by the control system of center-processed scheme, and then store into monitoring database those measured responses, which are successively used for processing and inquiring by remote managers. Afterwards, for the sake of achieving real-time monitoring, abnormal messages are effectively and extensively conveyed to correlative personnel through alarming scheme.
Finally, in order to explore the accuracy of monitoring data and enhance the reliability of monitoring system, the monitoring system of Nanfangao Bridge is illustrated and monitoring data is compared with its counterpart measured on the spot. | en_US |
