Abstract
National Corporation was regarded as one of the greatest inventions of Government. However, Margaret Thatchert, the former Prime Minister of United Kingdom, and Ronald Wilson Reagan, the former President of United States of America combined Libertarianism to advance Economical Libertarianism, which is so called neoconservatives or new right wings. Mainly, the Privatization of Government-Owned Enterprises is based on Liberalism. Under the trend of Liberalization and Internationalization, privatization approaches the mainstream.
Freidman, the Master of Libertarianism, revised his theory that there are some unimaginable consequences of raising Neo- Libertarianism, therefore, this article will focus on how Government-Owned Enterprises operate for eternity while fulfilling its social duty. Meanwhile, offering a model which is able to demonstrate the Privatization of Government-Owned Enterprises, is also a main purpose of this article.
This article will discuss different methods of privatization from different countries which include England, France, Japan, China and Taiwan. Further more, to epitomize several representative cases which face dilemma and hurdles. On the other hand, this article will also use case study method to discuss Taiwan Salt Company’s process of Privatization, from 2001 to 2004, to epitomize a method for the Privatization of Government-Owned Enterprises. Hopefully, the referral will indicate a good way for privatization for Government-Owned Enterprise.
