dc.description.abstract過去,臺灣透過「矽谷三角( Silicon Triangle )」政策運作,利用三地不同的比較利益從事國際分工工作。但隨著中國大陸經濟改革與發展,大陸與先進國家之間創新活動的互動明顯高過臺灣且中國已成為跨國企業設立研發中心的首選。 本文針對跨國企業研發國際化的動機與型態,利用OECD Triadic Patent Data分析過去跨國企業研發國際化的策略行為,並透過Maximilian von Zedtwitz and O. Gassmann(2002)的分析架構討論Philips、Nokia、Intel、Microsoft及三星在不同的發展條件下,中國大陸掘起對其在兩岸研發創新活動上產生的影響。 全球各個國家的跨國企業,其研發國際化活動並不若其在製造生產國際化來得明顯。超過93%的創新產出仍然在三大創新區域(美國、歐盟及日本),而台灣郤僅佔0.198%,略遜中國大陸的0.3%。但是在創新的效率上台灣卻高出中國大陸許多。另外,由於在先天條件如市場及過去計畫經濟的發展政策及後天科技政策及產業政策的差異,使得台灣與中國大陸在吸引跨國企業前來投資的發展途徑及誘因有著相當大的差異,台灣而言,重點不在於兩岸是為互補或為競爭,而是台灣在整個研發國際化的價值鏈中,可以擁有什麼利基條件來吸引跨國企業並進一步增加本身在創新活動上的優勢,如商業環境成熟、位居亞洲中心、及政府提供稅務優惠。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThe globalization of markets, the regionalization of technical and sienitfic expertise, and the rapid change in technologies are forcing technology are forcing technology-based companies to continuously adjust their R&D strategies. Traditionally the relation of “Silicon Triangle (Silicon Valley in US, Hsinchu in Taiwan and Shianghai in China) are Silicon Valley for basic research, Taiwan for product development, and China for manufacturing. The continued growth of the China economy accompanied with the expansion of international investment in China has led to an increase in foreign research and development activities in the country. The focus of our research is on Multinational Enterprises R&D globalization will follow the traditional structure of “Silicon Triangle”or Taiwan will be by pass. Our study is mainly based on OECD Triadic Patent Data reveals different types of R&D behavior in four archetypes of R&D internationalization (including National treasure R&D, Technology-driven R&D, Market-driven R&D ,Global R&D) and also MNCs announce creating R&D centers in China but there is no enough evidents to believe that centers have ability to support MNCs .en_US
