dc.description.abstract | With recent advances in mobile devices, such as PDA phone or PDA, mobile devices have made a great progress, and become increasingly popular. In recent years, many researchers investigate applying mobile devices into learning and education. Furthermore, mobile devices, in particular PDAs, were expected to facilitate, efficient learning and bring a new study way in studying. In this study, a Mobile Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (M-CSCL) mechanism was proposed. The purposed M-CSCL mechanism combined mobile and web system, and designed an integrated multimedia mobile forum named “StudentPartner”. Learners and teachers can read and update the information collaboratively in online or offline environment and in anytime and anywhere. In mobile devices, users upload and synchronize local database to server, and synchronize the latest database from server to local database which stored in the mobile devices once the mobile devices is connected to the network. This research attempts to enhance the richness information and expects to allow learners access learning information anytime and anywhere to facilitate collaborative information management.
The subjects are 13 doctors and postgraduates. Researcher designed and used the questionnaire to explore user’s intention and satisfaction, and evaluated learner’s cognition and attitude of quality of this system, quality included system quality and information quality. And then, researcher exploreed which dimension would affect user’s intention and satisfaction. Besides, researcher also explored the usage and correlation in mobile and web system and between them. And these results can be used as the design guide of seamless collaborative learning in the future. | en_US |
