dc.description.abstract全球暖化問題愈趨嚴重,在我們只有一個地球下,所有企業身為地球的一員,除了積極創造本身的最大利潤外,也應該負起相關的企業社會責任。半導體產業製程中會排放高全球暖化潛勢以及大氣生命週期長久的全氟碳化物(Perfluorocarbons,PFCs),此一負面的產出加重全球暖化問題,其對於溫室效應的影響為二氧化碳的6,000至24,000倍,全球半導體產業協會(WSC)於1995年把PFCs列為該產業溫室氣體的減量對象,因此本研究以PFCs(全氟碳化物)的排放量為評估半導體企業考量企業社會責任後之經營績效的環境因子。有別於以往企業績效評估著重於財務面,本研究以全球半導體產業為對象,加入環境因子全氟碳化物的排放量,以可以同時衡量多項投入與多項產出的資料包絡分析法來分析,藉由多重準則的評估,來衡量全球半導體產業的經營效率,並藉此找出標竿企業提供給相對較不效率企業改進參考。 結果發現,考量環境因子後,效率排名退步的公司大多為美國企業,排名進步的公司為日本與韓國企業,顯示日本與韓國半導體企業相對於美國企業更重視環境保護,善盡其企業社會責任!此外,排名退步的企業每單位銷貨收入所排放出的PFCs氣體,遠高於進步的企業,顯示在相同的營利水準下,進步的企業對環境所造成的負面衝擊較低。此外我們亦提供排名退步的企業改善的方向,並且以被參考次數最多的三星電子為標竿企業,探討其於環境保護所作之措施,提供給其他企業學習。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThe problem of global warming is getting seriously. We only have one planet. Therefore, corporations not only make profit as much as they can but also have to concern with corporate social responsibility. Semiconductor industry will emit PFCs which have high global warming potential and stay in the atmosphere for a long time so we use PFCs as the environmental factor to measure the efficiency of the corporations. This is very different from other studies that emphasize on financial factors. This study adopts DEA model to measures the efficiency of global semiconductor industry and uses both financial and environtal factors. This study finds that companies with declining ranking in efficiency consist mainly of American companies. Companies with progressing ranking in efficiency are Japanese and Korean companies. This reveals that Japanese and Korean companies pay more attention on environmental protection. This study also finds negative impact on environment caused by companies with progressing ranking is relative lower. Finally, this study provides some suggestions to those companies with declining ranking in efficiency and finds the benchmark.en_US
