dc.description.abstract | This paper seeks to probe into the topic of wine in Taiwanese literature since 1949. It discusses about wine writing, wine lyricism, topics and themes, philosophy moral , reflections on reality, and cultural phenomenon, and afterwards integrates the above-mentioned texts.
The first chapter states my motive, reviews on related topics of wine, the scope and methodology. The second chapter aims at the discussion of culture. It talks about how the culture of wine forms in Taiwan, and also the features of that. By comparing the western wine culture with the Taiwanese one, the paper show what the Taiwanese wine culture lacks and what it looks into the future, hoping it to be more refined. The third chapter analyzes and categorizes the expressions of wine, wine writings, philosophy moral, topics of nostalgia and recollections. The fourth chapter analyzes and integrates gender, ethnic identity, erotic writing, and social concern. It also includes the decentralized wine literature that subverts authority structure. The fifth chapter is the conclusion.
From the paper, I hope to see through the surface of words and to analyze the social, economical and cultural background of each writer to show their personal characteristics and politics. By making the hidden meaning of wine literature prominent and apparent, I hope to help promote the development of Taiwanese wine culture. | en_US |
