This study expects that those empirical results can provide managers more accurate information to make human resources decisions related to promotion, job training, recruitment, and etc. In this study, 61 questionnaires are collected from R&D workers in high-tech industry. After excluding some ineffective questionnaires, there are 55 sample observations. By using the descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA, and regression analysis, this study examines the impact of R&D competency map (including of creativity, execution, organization climate, and internal locus of control) on the performance. The empirical results show that creativity, organization climate and internal locus of control have significantly positive influence on the performance.
