This study investigated the Hakka Language life schools and community organizations, third-level governance and compliance status, the differences in background variables, and to explore the Council for Hakka Affairs to promote the Hakka Language School in Taoyuan County, project implementation status and effectiveness, to provide Taoyuan County Hakka life in elementary and middle schools to promote teaching as a reference.
Research Methods are questionnaire survey, depth interviews, supplemented by literature. Questionnaire is divided into two parts, the first part of the test subjects applied 98 Taoyuan County Hakka Language school year to implement the 50 elementary schools in the principal contractor personnel, director, homeroom teachers or subject teachers issued a total of 210 questionnaires, 186 questionnaires were available, 88.5% rate of the questionnaire can be used . The study tool is "Elementary schools in Taoyuan County Hakka assess the effectiveness of the Hakka language life school " questionnaire; Surveying the second part of the object for the implementation of Hakka Language School . I serveied an elementary school in the south of Taoyuan , students from grade one to grade six who learned Hakka, issued a total of 548 questionnaires, 507 questionnaires were available, the questionnaire was 92.5% availability, research tool is " Hakka teaching effectiveness questionnaire in Zhongping Elementary School, Chungli City, Taoyuan County. " Recycling survey data aggregation, encoding log, the application of SPSS17.0 for statistical analysis software package. Depth interviewing school in the south for 5 consecutive years in Taoyuan Hakka Language life schools and community organizations to work together successfully as a model of governance Zhongping elementary school puma array activities’ principal, director, team leader, teachers, students, parents, community history workers or seniors, and interviewed two members of the Education Bureau who are responsible for Taoyuan County Hakka Language life school .
The Findings of this study are summarized as follows:
First, the implementation of Taoyuan County Hakka Language life schools and community organizations, the status of third-party governance
Hakka Language life schools and community organizations, the most successful examples of third-party governance, the most important Elementary School in the south of Taoyuan is Zhongping puma array of activities as a model, enter the campus to community organizations, and joint community, civil society, government resources, a total structure Hakka culture and Hakka language teaching, effective integration of family - school - community together to achieve the school environment Hakka life.
Second, the effectiveness of Hakka language school life in Taoyuan County
In Hakka language school life questionnaire, the administrative operation, teaching and event planning, combined with the use of community resources, student development of Hakka culture in four dimensions, in addition to combining the use of community resources do not meet the ratio exceeds even more, fails to Council for Hakka Affairs schools to promote the original intention of Hakka life, other dimensions and get in good parents and students, community recognition, so the use of community resources is the key to school activities.
Third, the status of Hakka language life school students’
Hakka ability is getting better and better, they can speak Hakka more, parents generally agreed that the effectiveness of the Hakka language teaching is to continue to encourage, promote and arouse the initiative of students to learn the Hakka identity, help to improve language barrier between parents and children, enhance the emotions and cultural preservation.
Based on the literature review and results of this study, we propose specific recommendations for the future administrative unit, the county government contractors Reference Department of Education to improve the overall Hakka language life schools and community organizations, community resources co-operation and to enhance on the Council for Hakka Affairs to promote the Hakka language life school satisfaction and effectiveness.
