dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the study is to discuss the attitudes f Hakka females in using money. Make attempt at discussing if individual backgrounds will lead to distinct attitudes in money.Analyzed data were gathered from 231 females in Tauyuan County. Ten females were interviewed. The results of interview were discussed. The following are findings:(1)Different generations of females have different attitudes toward money.(2)Hakka females with different ages, education backgrounds, and occupations affect the attitudes toward money.(3)Different life experiences cause distinct attitudes toward money. In the past, Hakka females reside in a conservative, sealed, as well as agricultural society for a long time; in addition, they inherited diligent, thrifty, and simple ethnic convention, which manifested that ethnic culture developed the attitudes toward money for Hakka females. The suggestions are as follows:(1)Developing right attitudes toward money: As to attitudes toward money, we wonder if Hakka females abandon the original stereotype of frugality and release from traditional money attitudes, such as frugality, diligence, conversation, and simplicity. Look forward to developing right money attitudes and conform the changing generation.(1)Enforcing financial education: Individuals should understand the value of traditional ethnic culture and keep financial wisdom of the sages of old in mind.
