dc.description.abstract | The Mainland China is already a major investment area for Taiwanese Enterprise. This paper selected a representative of Taiwan enterprises in industrial products industry, and probed into the response strategies of Taiwanese Enterprise in Mainland China by institutional theory and resource dependence. The following are the conclusions and practical recommendations.
The Conclusions:
First, the system pressure faced by Taiwanese Enterprise in mainland China business development is: In the face of the control system, the pressure is relatively low; in regulating systemic pressure to moderate; cultural awareness aspect of the system, the pressure higher.
Second, Taiwanese Enterprise response to the pressure of the system of continental political and economic environment, through a variety of coping strategies in different business aspects, dependent on the parent company and local access to resources.
Specifically addressed as follows:
1. Acquiescence strategies in response to China’’s control of system pressure.
2. Acquiescence strategies in response to the mainland specification of the system pressure.
3. Manipulation strategies in response to the institutional pressures of cultural perception of the continent.
The practical recommendations:
In the face of system pressure, the Taiwanese Enterprise operating in mainland China investment, to take different types of coping strategies in order to obtain a good operation and development. When the high pressure of the overall institutional environment, and actively rely on parent company resources and rely on local resources, to take the manipulation strategy and strategic alliances; particular need emphasis is living in the industrial industry of Taiwan businessmen in the mainland market, the main faced by the continent’’s cultural cognitive pressure, enterprises need a deep understanding of the continent’’s political and economic structure, manipulation and strategic alliance strategy through a variety of ways, proactive response to this pressure.
