摘要(中) 本文利用實證方法,研究新品開發團隊在不確定與複雜的環境中,如何利用資訊應用能力與社會資本,提升協調能力與吸收能力,進而創造績效。資訊應用能力指的是專案資源、組織記憶、以及團隊合作等三種管理系統的有效利用,社會資本指的是蘊含在團隊成員關係之中的實質與潛在的資源,協調能力指的是企業條配資源與活動關聯性的能力,吸收能力指的是企業發掘、吸收、轉變以及應用外界知識的能力,而績效則是產品效用與流程效率的最佳組合。研究樣本是242家台灣電子業的研發專案團隊,研究假設獲得支持,從研究結果可用以解釋,專案團隊為何難以創造良好績效,也可以看出,專案團隊利用資訊能力與社會資本所創造的價值,各有高低。
摘要(英) We examine how aspects of IT leveraging competence (i.e., the effective uses of project and resource management systems, organizational memory systems, and cooperative work systems) and social capital influence performance (i.e., product effectiveness and process efficiency) by coordination capability and absorptive capacity under uncertainty and complexity in new product development (NPD). Using a sample of 242 research and development project teams in electrical manufacturers of Taiwan, we find support for our hypotheses. Findings reveal why NPD teams have difficulty achieving high levels of performance and why these teams vary in their ability to create value from their IT leveraging competence and social capital.
