摘要(中) 企業在追求永續發展的過程中,必須要立足台灣,放眼全世界,並投入資源發展新產品。然而,企業的資源有限,要如何將有限資源發揮到最大的效益,便是最大的挑戰。綜觀全世界,有許多全球化企業也都面臨此困境。研發管理是一種方法,將研發展開成研究與開發,在細分成技術創新、研發策略、研發組織、專案管理及跨國研發等面。基耶薩(Chiesa)在2001年針對研發策略及組織提出他的見解,此次研究,我們將討論研發管理的五個面向,並研究德國百年全球化標竿企業的研發管理的方式。
技術策略的維度是評估企業研發策略的好方法,透過脈絡發展、選擇、時機及獲取等面向去探討,最後會得出企業的技術策略。從個案的研究來看,透過技術策略維度之探討而得到技術策略,一旦確認技術策略,產品經理便開始規劃年的產品上市規劃,研發單位便著手安排開發計畫,調整研發組織,透過專案管理來決定開案計畫及優先順序,藉由跨國研發的合作,共同完成產品上市計畫,為公司創造業績。
在探討個案公司的過程中,我們了解到,技術的研究不一定要全部自己做,可以透過聯盟或收購進行,台灣企業因為資源的限制,會將研究新技術的工作轉由國家技術單位或學術單位來做,再透過技術轉移來完成,而台灣企業只要專注在技術商品化。針對研發組織的部分,企業只要能將人力資源有效利用,所規劃的組織就是好組織。至於跨國研發模式部分,有五種研發型式可以參考,只要能幫助企業研發效率,其研發型式便是好的形式。個案公司經過百年淬鍊,其研發型式已經到達全球整合研發型式,透過個案的研究,驗證研發管理的方法的確是一項很好的成果。
摘要(英) In the process of pursuing sustainable development, corporation must base themselves on Taiwan, look at the world, and invest resources in developing new products. However, the corporation has limited resources. How to maximize the limited resources is the biggest challenge. Looking at the whole world, many global companies also face this problem. R&D management is a method. We can deploy R&D into research and development and subdivide it into technological innovation, R&D strategy, R&D organization, project management, and multinational R&D. Chiesa put forward his insights on R&D strategy and organization in 2001. In this study, we will discuss the five aspects of R&D management and study the R&D management methods of Germany′s century-old global benchmarking corporation.
The dimensions of technology strategy are good to evaluate the R&D strategy. Through the aspects of context foresight, selection, timing and acquisition, we will get the corporation′s technology strategy. From the case study, the technology strategy is obtained through the dimensions of the technology strategy. Once the technology strategy is confirmed, the product manager will start to plan the roadmap. The R&D department will start to arrange the development plan, adjust the R&D organization. We will manage the priority through project management. We will succeed the product launch plan by the cooperation of multinational research and create performance for the company.
When we investigate the case study. We understand that it is not necessary to do the research by ourselves. We can do it through alliances or acquisitions. Due to resource constrain, Taiwanese companies will rely on the research from national technical units or academics. The corporation will own the technology through technology transfer. Taiwanese companies can only focus on product realization with the new technology. For the part of R&D organization, as long as the corporation can effectively use the human resources, it is a good organization. There are five R&D models for the transnational R&D model. As long as it can help the R&D efficiency, the R&D model is good. After a hundred years of hardening the chain, the R&D model of the case company has reached the global integrated R&D model. Through the case study, the method of R&D management is indeed a good result.
