摘要(中) 先前的研究提及,方案適合探索(exploration),而專案更適合充分利用(exploitation)(資源)。該實徵研究以方案和專案的組合使用方式展示了對組織雙元性積極的影響,如此意涵說明方案與專案的彈性優勢。所以,本研究利用方案導向管理(即方案手段與專案融合的管理概念)來探究將相互關聯的專案視為一個方案能否為組織帶來較好的管理效益,例如:更高水平專案間的合作與協調。本研究使用合作和協調兩個構念來詮釋專案間協作的兩個層面,並且被認為在資訊系統專案的背景下會對組織雙元性有積極的影響。因為資訊系統可以很大地影響組織在當今動蕩環境中的運營與績效,了解組織如何在資訊系統專案中實現以及保持靈活彈性因而激勵了本研究。
本研究採用傳統郵寄方式收集了台灣前 1,000 家製造企業的調查數據,並使用PLS分析研究模型。結果支持了方案導向對組織雙元性有間接影響的論點,其中專案間協作起到中介的作用。另外,結果還支持了本研究對專案間互動關係的論點,即專案間的合作對專案間的協調有正向的影響效果。因此,根據研究結果,本研究提出了管理啟示、侷限以及未來的研究方向。
摘要(英) As mentioned in prior research, programs are suitable for exploration, while projects are suitable for exploitation (resources). This empirical study shows that the combined use of programs and projects has a positive effect on the organizational ambidexterity. Such an implication illustrates the flexibility advantages of programs and projects. As a result, this study uses the program orientation of an organization (that is, the management concept of the fusion of program approach and projects) to explore whether considering interrelated projects as a program can bring about greater management benefits for organizations, such as higher levels of cooperation and coordination among projects. The two constructs, cooperation and coordination, are used in this study to represent the two aspects of collaboration among projects and are held to have positive influences on organizational ambidexterity in information systems projects. Because information systems can greatly affect organizations’ operations and performance in today’s turbulent environment, gaining a better understanding of how organizations can achieve and maintain ambidextrous in information systems projects, thereby, motivates this study.
This study uses traditional mailing methods to collect survey data from the top 1,000 manufacturing firms in Taiwan and analyzes the research model with PLS. The results support the arguments that program orientation has indirect effects on organizational ambidexterity, with inter-project collaboration playing the mediating role. In addition, the results also support the study’s argument on the interaction among projects; that is, inter-project cooperation has a positive impact on inter-project coordination. Based on the research results, management implications, limitations, and future research directions of the study are provided.
