Using the TIEGCM model to simulate parallel B plasma velocity and plasma distribution which happened in 2001 quiet time. The satellite
data shows there is a large amount of plasma frequently piled up in LT12:00~16:00、MLAT15°~25°.Generally is called equator abnormal phenomenon (EIA).The simulate data shows the same phenomenon in relative position and the value also approaches equally.
We further analyzed parallel B plasma velocity.The simulated and observed data all shows that a smaller value(10~20 m/sec) in equator abnormal region,and a bigger value(50~80m/sec) outside of boundary region, therefore the plasma is unable to stable existence in this region.According to
continuity equation, divergence of parallel B plasma velocity direct influence plasma density distribution.
At second part,we alone analyzed the TIEGCM simulate result, and control different parameter(F10.7、altitude、season),It helps us to analyse which is the primary factor to affect plasma parallel B velocity. |
