論文提要內容：
三十多年來，技術發展所帶動的商機與衝擊對電感元件業至為重大，台商如何認知處境，在多重資源限制下，守住自己的優勢，並運用外地資源與技術，強化研發提昇競爭力，是當前重要的課題；近年來，幾乎所有的全球大型企業均積極佈局大陸，而海峽兩岸同種同文，最能接近、融合，如何吸納其基礎研究及研發資源，藉以擴大研究發展，以開創新局面，為本研究之最主要動機。
為深入探討台灣電感元件業對大陸之『研發動機』、『研發組織功能型態』與『研發能力』之關係，以及員工『入股分紅』之激勵措施，可否適用於社會主義之中國大陸；本研究以個案研究法，探討AG公司對大陸研發之投資。又，本研究採結構性訪談方式，訪談個案公司之多位主管，亦兼採次級資料，來佐證從個案公司所取得之相關訊息。
本研究發現，台灣電感元件業對大陸之研發投資活動，會隨著其動機之不同而設立不同功能型態之研發組織；且其研發能力，亦會隨其研發組織功能型態而有所不同。研究中亦發現，個案公司所採取『群體持股』模式之入股分紅，並未對其研究發展能力有所助益。最後，本研究亦形成“在技術多變或潛在替代品威脅下，低成本策略或產品差異化策略難以有效提升競爭能力，此時，藉由研發新技術或新材料之能力，將是企業不敗之競爭優勢”等之推論。
