Firstly it refers to single SAR image Radargrammetric Conditions, applying polynomials for description of SAR’’s flying track, then using mixed adjustment method in order to find out orientation parameters. It also uses statistics testing to reach the best orientation parameters, which can be continuously researched and used in the future. However, SAR image can cause geometric distortions. As a result, there will be difficulty in performing the technique of matching general images. Consequently, it has been considered to use DTM which starts from the viewpoints of the ground, mixed with LS matching methods, reaches finally the so-called "Groundel Matching". The space intersection finally is done based on the above mentioned exterior orientation parameters and matching outcome.
Experimental area image is a SAR image obtained from INTERA CO, CANADA through the invitation of Center for Space and Remote Sensing Research of the National Central University and assisted by Agriculture Commission in October 1993. The experimental area is near Chaochou town, Ping Tung county. It covers 16 km from east to west, and 12 km from north to south. |
