In this thesis, a motion compensated frame rate up conversion (FRUC) algorithm is proposed. Our proposed method can acquire more accurate motion vector by referencing neighboring frames. After interpolation, some debris will be introduced, because some dynamic scene is hard to predict. For the purpose of suppressing the debris, noise removal filter is applied. According to the experimental result, it shows that our proposed approach improves the up-conversion performance by 0.48dB in average. The annoying artifacts are reduced significantly. |
