General station deployment needs a lot of simulation tools. But it will cost a lot and waste time. In addition, major stations building phase of today′s GSM (Global System for Mobile) networks has been completed, but we still need small cells to reinforce coverage. If you want to introduce micro base stations, its amount won’t be much. It’s not affordable to buy analog service for small number of stations.
This thesis discusses how to use existing performance reports of large site to analyze and provide a new method to deploy stations and we hopes to help telecom operation suppliers save unnecessary expenditure. This thesis will also explore the characteristics and limitations of GPEH (General Performance Event Handler), which causes inaccurate information at data collection.
This thesis proposes a new method: the objective function based on SINR (Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio) of expression, and we use the simulation software to verify the analytical results. Finally, we will compare them at the simulation sections.
