摘要(英) |
IP Multimedia Subsystem(IMS) is a brand-new platform designed for multimedia services and applications. IMS lets subscribers enjoy novel services and meets the variety of requirements from them. Moreover, IMS deals with problems that come from merging the existing access networks including wireless and fixed ones. Therefore, IMS is considered to be the core part of Next Generation Networking(NGN).
Up to now, the characteristics of applications and services in the NGN are defined unclearly. Nevertheless, what we can make sure is that any application or service deployed in the future will comes with plenty of functionalities which each offered by a single application or service nowadays. In addition, except bringing in novel applications, legacy services should not be threw away. Contrarily, we shall make them more abundantly. When speaking to network accessing technologies, it is important that subscribers can keep their operation knowledge and skills they have learned from existing ones to operate new ones with pleasantness.
In this paper, we introduce the development and deployment of an application based on IMS platform, which is named as “ubiquitous vehicle assignment system”. Many functionalities are integrated into the vehicle assignment system, for example, presence service, location service, multiple way to ask vehicle, emergency call, etc. By this implementation, we hope that there will be more and more services base on the IMS platform as successors to benefit human’s daily lift. |
