摘要(英) Previous studies have shown that people could search for external information to reduce their uncertainty, however, if the information brings positive and negative expressions simultaneously, the information inconsistency would happen. There are disagreements among researchers about how this contradictory situation affects the perception of people. Some researchers showed that people would become confused, and others considered that people would make choices more cautious. Nevertheless, this shows that information inconsistency would affect the perception of the information receiver, and it is still not enough for measuring the perception of people by the factor of information inconsistency individually. Accordingly, this study would take the factors of sequentiality (the sequential of contradictory expressions) and time interval (time interval between information with contradictory expressions) for consideration, aiming to explore the interaction effect of sequential information inconsistency and time interval on trustworthiness. The mechanism of two-stage reviews in e-commerce would be our experimental situation in this study.
