摘要(中) 台灣過去在國際上經營電子系統代工產業,以成本、速度、彈性及品質等能力替許多國際知名品牌生產筆電、智慧型手機、伺服器等產品,長期經營以來利用國際分工優勢建立起了完整的產業聚落及遍布全球的供應網絡。近年來全球產業面臨許多挑戰與不確定因素,先是中美貿易戰改變了全球供應鏈布局,後有新冠肺炎疫情造成全球供應危機,使得電子製造業者面臨更複雜的挑戰。
在這樣的時空背景下,主攻伺服器的電子業Q公司雲端事業部面臨許多原料供應問題,經初步調查分析後,發現內部供應鏈沒有足夠的視野來顯示原料的需求來源是主要問題,因此本研究將針對此問題提出一個有效的改善計畫來解決MRP系統無法溯源的問題。在評估過改善計畫後,發現此提案在有效解決供應問題外亦增加了策略採購的效益,在增加料件使用效率的同時為公司創造更多價值。
摘要(英) The electronic manufacturing services (EMS) in Taiwan made their name around the globe in the past decades, by assembling laptops, smart phones, servers, among others, for major international brand names. They are renowned for low cost, quick response, high flexibility, and fine quality. These manufacturers have established industrial clusters and sound supply chains. However, in recent years, the industry has been facing with enormous challenges and uncertainties. First, there is the US-China trade war leading to a change in global supply chain distribution. In addition, there is the COVID-19 pandemic causing global supply chain crisis. The EMS in Taiwan are therefore facing with complex puzzles to tackle.
The target of this study, an EMS company Q’s cloud computing business unit, is a major server supplier in the global market. It encountered raw material supply constraints under such background. Initial investigation showed that insufficient supply chain visibility, failing to reveal the origin of each order, happens to be the root cause of much difficulties. This study thus proposed a plan to tackle the problem. Analyses show that the proposal can potentially result in a new dimension for strategic procurement beyond solving supply issues, which led to enhancing material planning efficiency and creating more value to the company.
