Survey research is a significant way for gathering opinions to understand various
perspectives and feelings. Due to the progress of technology, online survey makes search data
easier and more convenient and shorten time to acquire great quantity of samples. However,
online survey faces some challenges nowadays, for instance, participants would hesitate
answering sensitive questions if they worry about private information being leaked or used
inappropriately. In addition, survey result could be revised or manipulated for catering specific
purpose and influence reliability and accuracy. Moreover, distributors may use raffle as award
to attract more participants, yet these activities may not be public or transparent under certain
conditions or even have no real draw.
To deal with such challenges, we start focusing on Blockchain, which is a distributed and
decentralized technology with safe, transparent and traceable features. So the application of
Blockchain technology on questionnaire survey system is predictably available to resolve the
difficulty on traditional survey and elevate its quality and effect.
Based on above reason, this paper will develop a survey platform in view of Blockchain
technology with ERC20 token as the intermedium of transaction. Through intelligent contract,
this platform will realize functions such as award distribution and raffle to be executed
automatically, and protect participants′ privacy and questionnaires′ confidentiality by
asymmetric encryption technology. On the other hand, the platform also equipped with
technologies like IPFS to save quantum data for reducing expensive cost on saving it within
Blockchain, and FIDO to realize password-unnecessary login function. |
