摘要: In this study, ordered porous carbon (OPC) is used as the catalyst support for fuel cell application due to its large surface area and continuous structure. The OPC is fabricated using template method. Platinum is deposited on OPC by the alcohol reduction method. Results show that Pt/OPC as prepared has well dispersed Pt nanoparticles, with an average particle size around 3 nm. The electrochemically active surface area of Pt/OPC samples is 20% higher than that of commercial E-Tek sample. Furthermore, the long-term stability of Pt/OPC is also better than that of commercial E-Tek sample. ► Ordered porous carbon (OPC) is used as catalyst support for fuel cell application. ► OPC is fabricated using template method. ► Effects of pore size on catalytic characteristics are investigated. ► Active surface area of Pt/OPC is higher than commercial Pt/C sample's. ► Long-term stability of Pt/OPC is better than commercial Pt/C sample's. 出版者: Kidlington: Elsevier Ltd 出版日期: 2013-08-21 出處: International journal of hydrogen energy, 2013-08, Vol.38 (25), p.10998-11003 資源來源: ScienceDirect - Freedom Collection 版權: 2013 Hydrogen Energy Publications, LLC. 版權: 2014 INIST-CNRS 識別號: ISSN: 0360-3199 識別號: EISSN: 1879-3487 識別號: DOI: 10.1016/j.ijhydene.2013.01.007 識別號: CODEN: IJHEDX
