國內外許多研究顯示大多數的資訊科技開發的專案都無法準時完成,專案支出甚至超過預算,因此失敗的專案佔了很高的比例。為了改善軟體開發的品質,提高軟體績效,軟體流程改善,全面品質管理,六個 Sigma,或能力成熟度整合模式等方法應運而生。 本研究採取個案研究方法,詳細描述個案公司2005年開始進行組織內的軟體流程改善,以及IT專案的績效管理和品質管理的做法。本研究進一步收集整理個案公司IT專案的實徵資料,運用統計分析來檢視其專案的品質和績效,並探討專案特性與專案績效和品質之間的關係。研究過程中,本研究提出研究的模式和假說,並運用相關分析和迴歸分析檢驗本研究的假說,最後,將研究結果彙總,並提出未來在公司IT專案管理的改善建議。 研究結果顯示在軟體開發專案的績效管理中,一旦變更次數增加,專案無法準時完成的風險也會提高。在品質管理方面,個案公司的組織文化對於軟體品質管理深具當影響。 Many studies report that a very high percentage of IT development projects ended up with failure to complete within schedule and budget. To improve the quality of IT projects and software performance, methodologies such as software process improvement, TQM, 6-sigma, and CMMI are emerging and practiced in businesses. This research adopts the case study approach to describe how the case company has employed software process improvement since 2005 to enhance its software quality and performance. We go further to collect the empirical data of 96 IT projects in the case company and conducted statistical analysis to understand the quality and performance of IT projects and their relationship with the profiling data of IT projects. During the study, we propose our research model and hypotheses and employ correlation and regression analysis to test our hypotheses. Finally, we summarize our findings and conclude with suggestions to future IT project management for the case company. The research findings show that the more project changes, the higher the risk of schedule delay. As for quality management, the culture of the case company affects its software quality management in a great depth.
