Nowadays the related study of architecture in Taiwan is based on providing a healthy and comfortable environment to people. It is to pursue a paragenesis of environment and the world and derivative nine indicators of green architecture for eternal human life development. The ground water preservation is one of the indicators for evaluating the effect of ground water preservation, which is used to improve the circulation of ground water, ecology and climate adjustment, and to alleviate the rising temperature in the urban areas. This research is to study the methods and characteristic of pavement construction on water penetration survey analysis, experiment analysis, categorized related methods and effects and monitor of laboratory of water penetration pavement test. This research was to study the water penetration effect on pavement at the pedestrian walks at Kuan Yin elementary school and north No. 91. To study the pavement, it was to use the monitor instrument to measure the amount of water penetration in and out and the aquifer in the soil. The test was designed to verify the water penetration effect and preservation on various cross sections of pavement. Through the monitor instrument at the laboratory, the data would be used for comparison and correction for finding the important factor for preserving the water in the pavement. Through the human comfort indicator by analyzing the effect of water penetration on pavement, the result can be used for studying the benefit of pavement water penetration to the urban city. The concept of people friendly has been accepted by the profession of traffic organization and promoted. The main road management bureau has paid more attention on the city roads. The concept to build and maintain the road has also been applied on the pedestrian walk. Therefore building a pedestrian walk with respect, safety, comfort, no barricade and people friendly has become an important subject and challenge for building and maintaining the roads.
