Abstract:	煤在形成時對周遭環境之溫度,壓力等環境因素至為敏感,煤素質之種類,成份,特性與排列方式等已被證實可有效反映出成煤過程之外應力,溫度,地層層序與沈積變質環境等地質資料.本省主要煤層為中新世南莊層,石底層與木山層,大多分佈於苗栗以北之西部麓山帶,屬北部煤田區,成煤時與成煤後受造山運動及火山活動影響,構造至為複雜.本期計畫針對油氣潛能豐富之新竹-苗栗地區石底層(出磺坑層)進行沈積組構分析,以探討測區成煤經過及相關沈積環境.研究期間：8108 ~ 8207
