    Abstract: A novel phenolic resin/C-60-PU blend has been prepared which shows good miscibility due to the intermolecular hydrogen bonding existed between phenolic resin and C-60-PU. There is a special domain shown in the polymer blend system which is independent of the composition blends. The morphology and the toughening mechanisms of the uncured and cured phenolic resin/C-60-PU system were investigated.
