    Abstract: 將氫氣中之一氧化碳優先氧化是低溫燃料電池H2-PEMFC發展中的關鍵技術之ㄧ,有許多金基與鉑基觸媒已被用來選擇性氧化CO,但這些貴金屬觸媒都不能避免氫氣被明顯氧化的損耗。本實驗室已發現於CeO2擔體中引入少量的ZrO2不僅能促進擔體Ce0.9Zr0.1O2的redox特性,而且能增進CuO/Ce0.9Zr0.1O2觸媒對CO的選擇性氧化能力,最佳觸媒7%CuO/Ce0.9Zr0.1O2具有取代貴金屬觸媒用於燃料電池PROX單元中移除CO的潛力,但共沉澱法製得的Ce0.9Zr0.1O2共氧化物表面積不大,機械強度與加工成型性也較差,本研究擬引入Al2O3為Ce0.9Zr0.1O2擔體來改善上述缺點,採共沉澱-沉積法製備[Ce0.9Zr0.1O2/Al2O3]新型擔體,探討擔體的redox特性及CuO/[Ce0.9Zr0.1O2/ Al2O3]觸媒於富氫燃料中的CO選擇性氧化反應。 Preferential CO oxidation in hydrogen (PROX) is one of the key-techniques in developing low temperature polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (H2-PEMFC). Numerous Au-based and Pt-based catalysts have been studied on the selective oxidation of CO. But none of these noble catalysts can prevent significant losses of hydrogen by oxidation. In previous work, we have found that an appropriate amount of ZrO2 introduced into cerium oxide not only promoted the redox property of the resulted mixed-oxide Ce0.9Zr0.1O2 but also enhanced the selective oxidation of CO on CuO/Ce0.9Zr0.1O2. The best catalyst of 7%CuO/Ce0.9Zr0.1O2 is a promising candidate for replacing noble catalysts used in a PROX unit of H2-PEMFC system for removing CO. But the mixed oxide Ce0.9Zr0.1O2 from co-precipitation has a surface area only about 70 m2/g, and does not have good mechanical strength and forming properties. This work will use Al2O3 as a support for mixed oxide of Ce0.9Zr0.1O2 to improve its dispersion, mechanical strength and the easiness of forming. A new supported oxide of [Ce0.9Zr0.1O2/Al2O3] will be prepared using the co-precipitation-deposition method, its redox property and the selective oxidation of CO on CuO/[Ce0.9Zr0.1O2/Al2O3] catalyst will be examined. 研究期間:9501 ~ 9512
