Abstract:	社區大學是台灣最近八年（1998-2006）以來，蓬勃發展的另類高等教育機構，目前已經有88 所社區大學，每年參與選課學員人數超過10 萬人，並且仍在持續增加之中。本研究探討社區大學公共性議題推動的情形，選擇近幾年來社區大學對社會影響較大的公共性議題，包括：用藥安全知識課程、原住民文化與教育相關議題、社區規劃師培訓、新移民教育、河川守護、溼地保護、關機運動、 WTO 與農村、公民會議，以及公共論壇等。而本研究透過質化研究，採取文獻探討、深度訪談、學者專家座談等方法，期盼能夠實際與深入地瞭解社區大學公共性與社區性議題運作與發展，並將研究發現與建議作為社區大學、非營利組織、政府與社會大眾之參考。研究期間：9508 ~ 9607
