    Abstract: 本論文為數位家庭整合計畫的一部分,應用於數位家庭整合之[無線高畫質視訊傳輸技術] (WHDVI:Wireless High Definition Video Interface)。本論文以實現的角度去考量如何設計一個適當的影像提供者。 在設計考量上,主要分成四大方向: 1. 影像格式。2. 傳輸速度。3. 影像輸入模式。4. Frame rate 控制。 依人眼的視覺特性,以及提高壓縮模組的壓縮比,使用YUV的影像格式。 基於USB 2.0的傳輸速度,提供192Mbps的影像傳輸速度,其影像解析度為352x288,frame rate為30 fps(frame per second).考量壓縮模組的壓縮效率,提供兩組的平行(parallel)輸入。配合顯示裝置的運作模式,提供frame rate的控制。 This thesis is a part of the joint project of WHDVI (Wireless High Definition Video Interface) utilizing for digital home. This thesis bases on the aspect of realization to consider how to design a proper video provider. For the consideration of design, there are 4 directions: (a) Video format, (b) Transmission speed, (c) Video input mode, and (d) Frame rate control. According to the characteristic of human eyes and the improvement of the compression rate, the YUV format is used. Two sets of parallel inputs are provided to support the 192Mbps video transmission speed with 352x288 resolutions and 30 fps frame rates under USB 2.0 protocol. Corresponding to the operation mode of display devices, it feedbacks the frame rate control from the hardware board.
