台灣是全世界少有擁有全民健保的國家。台灣全民健康保險研究資料庫擁有完整全國性的病歷資料，讓研究人員可以利用各種生物統計和資料探勘技術找出有研究價值的資訊。本研究將建置完整流行病學研究的系統流程應用在系統性紅斑性狼瘡和氣喘兩疾病，並且將此系統流程分為四個步驟。此系統流程提供在不同環境和季節對於流行病學的特徵做研究，並且可減少研究人員在研究的時間以及有效率的進行研究。全民健康保險資料庫內有數百萬筆的原始醫療資料有如未開發的寶藏等待研究人員來探勘。未來將會持續的與專業醫師合作繼續朝其它疾病來研究，以強化台灣的醫療資訊。 Taiwan is one of few countries in the world that execute national health insurance system. Having the complete population-based medical records, the National Health Insurance Research Database (NHIRD) allows the researchers to study and evaluate useful medical information by using biological statistics and data mining techniques. Our research will constructed the system flow for epidemiological studies used in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and asthma disease, it consists four steps in our study. To use system flow make in different environment, seasons for research in epidemiological characteristics, which can reduce research time and conduct research efficiently. Hundreds and Thousands of raw medical records had been stored and saved in the NHIRD system, which could also bring huge scientific impact for medical researchers since those records are not fully understood, evaluated, and practiced yet. Lastly, with NHIRD system the collaboration between medical researchers and the dedicated doctors on given diseases can be of great support to enhance the medical database in Taiwan.
