Abstract:	蛇郎故事是東亞地區專有的「433D」類型，蛇郎故事作為中國流傳廣泛、數量豐富的民間故事，其基本形式有「蛇始祖型」與「蛇郎和兩姐妹型」兩種。關於中國的蛇郎類型故事，已有前人進行廣泛的資料收集和研究，並獲得豐碩的成果，本文即採用坊間出版的中國民間故事集中所蒐錄的資料，共76篇蛇郎異文分析歸納，並從古籍中尋找其脈絡。蛇郎類型故事經過時空流傳變異，複合了許多母題情節，或者與其他故事類型互見組編。在其流傳的過程中也發生了一定的變異，蛇郎故事在不同地區、不同民族流傳的過程中渲染了不同的地方色彩，但懲惡揚善的主軸卻未改變。故事中投射出傳統女性，對於美好伴侶的想像。肯嫁給蛇郎的小女兒，如同麻雀變鳳凰一般，生活富裕而幸福，雖然有遭到試煉，但結局依舊是完滿收場。本論文使用湯普遜的《民間文學情節單元索引》和AT分類法將龐雜的文本內容作一個整理，自己訂出細部的母題並加以分析，來對中國蛇郎類型故事進行分類和比較研究。The snake-bridegroom story is “433D type” of East Asian region proprietary. The snake-bridegroom folktales are popular Chinese folktale. There are two basic versions, one is the ancestor of snake and the other is snake-bridegroom and two sisters.There are plenty of studies about the snake-bridegroom folktales among Chinese communities. The results of these researches are fruitful. This paper analyzes total of 76 different texts which are snake-bridegroom stories from Chinese Folk Tales. Trying to analysis and induction from ancient books to find its contexts.　　Snake-bridegroom stories, through time and space, spread variation, composite motif or cross to the other story type group compiled. These stories process along historical development, there were local elements added in these stories.But the spindle of punishing evil and promoting good has not changed.The stories of snake-bridegroom reflect the strong hope that a lady would like to marry to a perfect husband. Although there are some challenges blocking the way to happiness, a lot of stories of snake-bridegroom having happy-ending.　　This thesis applied Thompson’s Index of Folk Literacy and AT Classification Method and analyzed related documents. Using comparative analysis to compare these documents in "motif" and "type".
