    Title: Constraining Leptonic Interactions due to a New Spin-1 particle

    Abstract: 新的spin-1粒子存在於新物理的假設之中,這樣的新粒子與標準模型的規範玻色子存在質量項或動能項mixing的可能性,然而卻不一定是一個滿足規範對稱性的玻色子。我們採用model-independent的研究方式,利用不同的flavor-conserving processes和flavor-violating processes的實驗資料,來對這樣的一個新spin-1粒子的leptonic couplings強度做一個限制。將不同實驗的constraints得到之結果做比較,我們找出最嚴謹的強度限制範圍。本論文針對兩種不同假設的新spin-1粒子,分成兩部分。第一部分,我們根據有關微中子非正規性交互作用的理論(NSI),考慮新粒子(以X表示)與電子和微中子有鍵結,並且質量小於Z玻色子的質量,利用微中子和電子的散射實驗,提取實驗上所允許的新粒子與電子及微中子的鍵結強度。第二部分,我們假設新粒子(以Z’表示)為一個規範玻色子,並且和標準模型的Z玻色子有質量項和動能項的mixing,其質量大於Z玻色子的質量。在這樣的前提下,研究新粒子與標準模型中帶電輕子的鍵結強度。We study a new spin-1 particle which is not necessarily a gauge boson and could mix with the standard model gauge bosons. Adopting a model-independent approach, we perform a comprehensive study of constraints on the leptonic flavor-conserving and -violating couplings of the new spin-1 particle from various experimental data on a number of flavor-conserving and flavor-changing transitions. Detailed comparisons are made to extract the most stringent bounds on the leptonic couplings. Our works could be separated into two parts. First, we consider nonstandard neutrinos interactions (NSI) with electrons arising from such a new spin-1 particle (denoted by X) with mass of tens of GeV or lower and extract the allowed coupling ranges. Secondly, we assume that the new spin-1 particle is a gauge boson(denoted by Z′ ) which has mass above electroweak scale and kinetic mixing with the standard model Z. We study the constraints on the new couplings with the SM charged leptons.
