    摘要: 研究期間:10108~10207;This project aims at applying the space-borne radar technique to determine the crustal deformation of the Western Taiwan area, as well as to integrate with other geodesy data to modify and discuss the observation errors. The first study area is Choushui River Alluvial Fan. The radar interferometry is a useful tool for monitoring the ground surface displacement in high resolution. This technique has many advantages, for example it provides an extraordinary spatial sampling density, a competitive precision, and a useful observation cadence. However, as Taiwan situated in a subtropical area, it is considered that both the steepness of mountains and the dense vegetation on land would provide the essential difficulty for the application of radar interferometry. In this study we thus tend to apply the multi-temporal InSAR ( MT-InSAR ) to deal with this difficulty. The MT-InSAR technique, which includes the permanent scatterers interferometry and small-baseline SAR interferometry, is an advanced and powerful tool for processing series of interferometric SAR data. Both these techniques can overcome the topographic limination of the mountainous area. Moreover, the permanent scatterers technique is aiming at millimetric precision ground deformation mapping and the space-time characteristics of the detected deformation. And the small-baseline technique minimizes the spatial and temporal separation (baseline) between the acquisition orbits, thus mitigating the decorrelation phenomena.
