摘要: | 研究期間:10206~10305;The aim of this one-year project is to acquire a rich library collection on the topic of technologically-enhanced life and psychology (with an emphasis on human factor and cognitive ergonomics), in the hope that the book collection would benefit the scholarship in this field in Taiwan. The list of books to acquire will cover both applied and basic research. In terms of applied research, concepts related to the integration between cognitive psychology and ergonomics, namely cognitive ergonomics, will be the main focus. As for basic research, besides mental processes highly related to ergonomics, such as perception, attention, memory, language, motor control, and decision making, the findings and techniques contributing to the understanding of these cognitive processes are also on the list. The Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at National Central University is well-acclaimed both in scholarship and teaching, of which the core areas are the mental process and brain mechanisms of human visual and auditory perception, attention, memory, language, motor control, and social interaction. Faculties here also have common interest in the applying their expertise in various aspects of technologically-enhanced life, such as designing elderly-friendly environment, remote health-care, cognitive training, the design of consumer electronics, and digital learning. If this library project is successful, it will greatly broaden the horizon and strengthen the vitality of the research and teaching of NCU and the field of social sciences and humanities in domestic universities. It is also hoped that this library collection will encourage and inspire more researches from social sciences and humanities to contribute to the international scholarship in this field. |
